It was almost an accident that we ended up in Vietnam. After our time had come to a close in Indonesia, my girlfriend Lauren (who’d joined us for our final week in Bali) steered our course north to Vietnam. We met up with her childhood friend Danielle Hatt and together, the three of us joined an expedition to Ha-Long Bay in the northern region of Vietnam. We also found a window of time that let us venture away from Hanoi, to the culturally rich fishing town of Hoi An. What follows is a collection of images from our excursion through Vietnam.
