In the fall of 2019, four of us set off on the kind of an adventure you dream about and if you’re lucky, you’ll have one stab at it. We spent an entire year planning in order to make this trip a reality. Leading up to our departure, the four of us held weekly dinners where we’d research as much as we could. We’d always keep in mind a subtle reminder to let certain events happen by chance. After 11 months of anticipation the calendar signaled that it was time to go. The four of us ventured across the pond through France, Spain and Portugal together. We explored the entire region in one camper van, which was built-out with bunk beds so the four of us could sleep comfortably. We ate everything, drank everything and scoured the coastline for waves (found a few good ones too).

The photos that follow are in no particular order but simply serve as moments from our trip that bring us back to three weeks on the road and more than 5000 miles from home.
